Welcome to Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia’s online volunteer registration system. It is our goal to provide the Northern Virginia area with a hassle free way for volunteers to sign up. If at anytime you encounter problems navigating our site, please let us know. Whether you are interested in construction, working at the ReStore or volunteering on a committee, you can find it here if the opportunity is available. Please take a few moments to register. Then, you can sign up to explore volunteer opportunities in support of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia.
Everyday Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia works to provide simple, decent and affordable housing to low income families. We couldn't do this imperative work without our dedicated volunteers. Thank you for taking the next step towards becoming a Habitat NOVA volunteer!

ReStore: We have more volunteer opportunities than ever before at both our Alexandria and Chantilly locations. ReStore is open six days a week, Monday through Friday from 10:00am – 5:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am – 5:00pm. We are always looking for support and we’re especially looking for people interested in regular volunteer slots. All ReStore volunteer opportunities are posted on the calendar below. Volunteers under the age of 16 require a parental chaperone. We cannot have volunteers under 12 years old. Build Projects: Perry Hall will start in the spring of 2010. The already existing structure is located in Arlington and will require extensive renovations. Currently, the building is a nine unit 10,000 square foot structure. The final product will be a twelve unit building with over 13,000 square feet. Plus, a new roof, a secured foundation, and doing all the other necessary upgrades to bring the structure to the Habitat standard of simple, decent, and efficient. Other Volunteer Opportunities: Administrative work, Special Event representation, and Committee work are posted as they are available. We are frequently looking for volunteers to help represent Habitat at giving fairs, trade shows, and many of our community events. Disney Day: If you are volunteering with Disney's "Give a Day, Get a Day" Program, you must sign up for an opportunity below, using Join Code "Disney", as well as signing up for the corresponding opportunity on www.disneyparks.com. You will NOT receive verification for hours worked unless you have signed up both places. All participants MUST sign up individually. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to volunteer at the ReStore. For more information contact Erica Einhorn, ReStore coordinator at eeinhorn@habitatnova.org.
